Additional seating available!

Hello Twilight Fans!

I have some very good news to all of you waiting for more openings to our event!

We have secured a second theater and are now opening the event to more guests. The second theater will be showing the movie at a later time that evening, about an hour and a half later than the first showing. This will allow us to manage the crowds a little better but everyone will still be able to gather for the activities and games that will be happening before the movies. We will do our best to get as many as possible in the first theater however, depending on the size of your group or when you purchase, we may ask if you are willing to see the later show. We will have more details shortly but we wanted to give you a "heads up" on the situation.

A note about admission prices for the event! As originally stated when we opened the event, any admission purchased before September 13, 2008 will be at a discounted price of $21 for admission with a goody bag or $16 for admission without a goody bag. If you pay after September 13, 2008, the price will be $26 for admission with a goody bag or $21 for admission without a goody bag.

We are now also taking orders for the Snack Pack deal. For an additional $10 per person you will get: one 20oz bottle of soda, a personal sized box of popcorn and one theater sized candy. By purchasing the Snack Pack deal you will be able to bypass the concession stand and pick up your treats as you walk into the theater. This is an optional purchase and you are not obligated to buy it.

When you purchase your tickets, please state in the notes: how many wristbands you are purchasing, how many want goody bags and if you are purchasing any Snack Pack deals. Omitting this information will cause a ton of extra work as we send e-mails back and forth to try to sort out your purchase. Please include the information as you make the purchase!

Twilight Premier Update 8/22/08

Hello Twilight Fans!

Thank you so much for your patience while we work out some details.

We are pleased to announce that we will still be hosting a Premiere Event. Our Twilight Movie Premiere Event will be held on November 21, 2008 to accommodate the new release date. If you are unable to attend the event on this date, please let us know as soon as possible so we can issue refunds and open up the spots to those on our rapidly growing waiting list.

Due to the date change and high demand for this event, we are moving forward with making arrangements to allow more people to attend. We will begin notifying people on our waiting list starting the first week of September and priority will be given to those who pay first. People on the waiting list will have an opportunity to purchase additional spots at the discounted price of $21.00 for admission to our event with a goody bag or $16.00 for admission without a goody bag. As originally announced, any purchases after September 13, 2008 will be at the higher price of $26.00 for admission to the event with a goody bag or $21.00 for admission without a goody bag.

The deadline for refunds is September 13, 2008. Any refunds requested after this date will be considered on a case by case basis and, if granted, will be partial refunds and subject to PayPal and processing fees. Financial obligations, due to theater rental, activities planning, purchases of prizes and goody bag items, prevent us from being able to issue full refunds.

Movie Release Date Changed!

WOW! Big news today! The release date for Twilight the movie has been changed. It will now be released three weeks early on November 21, 2008!

WOO HOO!!

Just so you know, we're on it! We have contacted our people at the theater and will be working out the details. We will update everyone as soon as we get more information. Be prepared for e-mail updates coming out in the next few days.

Just remember, IT'S THE WEEKEND! We may not have much more information until Monday...

Can you handle the wait!? LOL

August Update

We've got plenty of fun news this month to share!

The first thing I want to tell you all about is our Blog! You can find it at http://twilightutevents.blogspot.com/. If there is anything you need to know, we'll make sure to send it to you all in an e-mail. If for some reason you don't get the e-mail or you accidentally delete it, you will be able to find them all on the blog. We've got every message there from the very first automated response we sent out for all of your inquiries, right down to the message you're reading now.

The next thing we'd like to share is the news of our very first sponsor for our event – Ken Garff Volvo! Thanks to Kristin A. for working so hard to establish that relationship for us. We don't want to spoil any surprises yet but there will be some big things coming our way thanks to Ken Garff Volvo. They'll even have a booth in the banquet room at our event so you can ask them all about their cars. We'd like to show a little love for them so I'm hoping you could all take a minute and visit their website at www.kgvolvo.com. Let us know if you see something you like or if any of you are lucky enough to own one!

Our wonderful people at The District told us we could offer you a movie snack deal. You would get a 20oz bottle of soda, a personal sized popcorn and a theater sized candy for $10. The best part about this is, you won't have to wait in line at the concession stand for it! You can just grab it as you walk into the theater. For those of you who are interested in this, we will be sending out more info later about how to add this to your purchase.

We have had such a fantastic response to this event that we are considering renting a second theater. If you have friends that still want to attend the event, please have them email us their name and the number of tickets they would like. This will help us decide if it's worth renting another theater. Anyone already on the waiting list will get first shot at those tickets.

As usual, if you have any suggestions for items for the next update or general questions, go ahead and send them. Just remember, we are volunteers doing this in our spare time. It may take us a couple of days to get back to you but we will!

At this time, all tickets have been SOLD OUT!

If you are still interested in attending, we will be keeping a waiting list in case of last minute refunds. Please reply to this e-mail with your name and the number that would be interested in attending and we will contact you if more tickets become available.

SOLD OUT!!

Very exciting news! We have just sold out our show for December 12th! Way ahead of schedule, too. We expected to be selling these tickets throughout the summer as you can see by the original automated message. We had different prices for before and after September 13th. Looks like that deadline will no longer be necessary!

We are keeping a waiting list. In the event of someone cancelling and we have a few extra tickets, we will contact the people on the waiting list and offer them the tickets.

The next post in this blog will be a copy of the automated message we now have going out from our twilightutevents gmail account.

July Update

Hello Twilight Fans!

Welcome to our monthly update/newsletter!

We're going to do our best to get this out to you by the 12th of each month. Since this is going out July 12th, we now have only *FIVE* months left until our movie premiere party!

As of the time this was written, we have less than 20 tickets left to the event. If you have friends or family that have put off their ticket purchase, tell them to buy now! We fully expect to sell out our event by the release date for Breaking Dawn on August 2nd. There has been such a great response to this event. We would hate for anyone to miss out. If there is still a lot of interest, we will see what we can do to accommodate more people and let everyone know.

We are still in the early stages of planning but, we sure do have some great committees making some wonderful plans. As we get closer to the event, we will be telling you about prize drawings, activities, possible goodies in the bags and maybe even a mega contest!

Because this is our first update, we'd like to hear from you! What information would you like to see in the next update? We'd be happy to take suggestions. You are welcome to send us questions too, just remember that we are volunteers doing this in our "spare time". That means, it may take us a few days to get back to you, but we will!
