Twilight Movie Event Update 10/23/08

Hello Twilight Fans!

Well here we are! Less than one month to go until the big movie premiere. Can you stand it?

Once again we have a lot of news for you. Please read carefully so you don't miss anything important!

Charities: As you may know, any money left over from our event will be donated to charity. What you may not know is that we will also be actively collecting for charities that night as well. First we will be collecting canned food or money for the Utah Food Bank. For every 5 cans of food or $5.00 you donate, you will get one free entry for the great prize drawings we have planned for the night. Next, remember that poll we had you take about which colors matched up with each Twilight couple? The results are in and we will be selling Silicone Wristband Bracelets in those colors for Alex's Lemonade Stand. They will sell for $3 and for every 2 wristbands you buy, you will get a free ticket for the prize drawing. To make sure we have ordered enough wristbands, please go to our blog and tell us how many you plan to purchase.

Check in: We will have people at Will Call the day of the event from 2pm until 4pm where you can stop by and get your packet that will contain your tickets, wristbands and event guides for the evening. You will also be able to sign up for some of the activities in advance and avoid some of the lines. If you are unable to pick up your packets at Will Call, you can check in with us when we open the doors to the event at approximately 5 pm. Please remember all event and movie times are approximate. We won't have exact times until the theater gets all of the information from Summit Entertainment. We will e-mail everyone with exact times about 10 days before the event.

Vendors: We have some great businesses lined up for the event that night! Many of them will be selling on a cash only basis. Make sure you bring plenty for the evening or bring your ATM card for the machine in the lobby.

Snack Packs: They are still for sale but you only have two more weeks to order. Please visit our blog to order them. The snack pack includes a 20oz bottle of soda, a personal size box of popcorn and a theater size box of candy. Best of all, you get to bypass the concession stand and pick them up on your way into the theater!

Corporate Sponsors: We have added BMW of Murray to our sponsor list. You can visit their website here and sigh and swoon over all the lovely vehicles. How'd we get so lucky?
